Destiny, an AI venture founded by former film director Moon Hak, was selected for the NVIDIA Inception program on October 12 to support its overseas expansion. The company, which provides tools like EPIC and EIDOS, is currently validating its DESTINY SCORE service by comparing AI audience reactions against Netflix rankings.

AI venture Destiny announced on the 26th that it has been selected for NVIDIA Inception, a startup support program from NVIDIA. The company received notification of its selection on October 12, just 10 months after its incorporation in December 2025.

NVIDIA Inception is a global program that supports startups in the fields of AI and accelerated computing. Selected companies are provided with NVIDIA technical resources and support, as well as opportunities for partner connections and investor matching. Destiny plans to use these resources to drive service development and expansion into overseas markets.

Destiny was founded by CEO Moon Hak, a former film director. The company operates EPIC, a story development tool; EDIT, which assists with writing application forms and documents for support projects; and EIDOS, which allows experts and users to work on projects by sharing workscreens. The company is also developing DESTINY SCORE, which scores AI audience reactions by country before a work is released, and stated that it is currently validating this by comparing it with Netflix rankings by country.

The company operates its AI models on NVIDIA GPU-based servers, and both EPIC and EIDOS support 14 languages, including Korean. EDIT provides announcements and application forms for 1,783 domestic support projects currently accepting applications as of October 23.

In April 2026, Destiny received venture company certification from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and in May, it was recognized as a corporate research institute by the Korea Industrial Technology Association. In July, it was selected for the Innovative Startup Commercialization Fund from the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency. While joining Inception can expand technical development and collaboration opportunities, the success of overseas expansion will appear to depend on the local demand for each service and commercialization capabilities.

“When making films, the most time was spent on planning and preparation before filming,” said CEO Moon Hak. “Destiny's job is to support that process with technology so that creators and companies can focus on the essence.” He added, “With our joining of NVIDIA Inception, we will improve the perfection of our technology and expand our stage to the global market.”
