'Like You, Like a Star' Starring Ryusei Yokohama and Suzu Hirose Confirmed for October Release

According to media reports, the movie 'Like You, Like a Star' has confirmed an exclusive release at LOTTE CINEMA this coming October. This work is a love story that captures the poignant trajectory of love drawn by a man and a woman who were each other's only light over a long period of 15 years.

The original work is the novel of the same name by Yu Nagira, which has exceeded 1.7 million copies in cumulative series circulation. Expectations are high as the direction is handled by director Michihito Fujii, who showcased sensible visual beauty through the film 'The Last 10 Years'.

Ryusei Yokohama and Suzu Hirose have been cast as the lead actors. Ryusei Yokohama has appeared in works such as 'Unrequited Love World', 'Kokuho', and 'Wandering', while Suzu Hirose has been active in numerous works including 'The Gas Man', 'Unrequited Love World', and 'Our Little Sister'.

The released teaser poster captures Ryusei Yokohama as Kai and Suzu Hirose as Akimi facing each other and smiling brightly. The phrase "All they had was each other" and the copy "15 years, the one and only light that illuminated each other's despair" in the poster stimulate curiosity about the narrative of the two people who first met in the summer of their seventeenth year and recognized each other's loneliness.
