Broadcast: Tonight (15th) at 11:30 PM

President Lee Jae-myung's approval rating for state affairs has recorded its lowest level since the government's launch. According to Gallup and Realmeter, President Lee's approval rating has shown a downward trend starting from the Democratic Party of Korea national convention, falling into the 30% range.

Amid the decline in approval ratings, President Lee carried out a cabinet reshuffle to recover momentum for state affairs. However, nominee Yong Hye-in, who was nominated as the Minister of Gender Equality and Family, fell due to controversy over concurrently holding positions as a proportional representative lawmaker and a minister, and nominee Kim Seung-won for Minister of Justice has been embroiled in 'Ministry of Food and Drug Safety lobbying allegations,' creating an atmosphere where the reshuffle is acting as a setback instead.

In addition, the real estate tax reform plan and the issue of dispatching troops to the Strait of Hormuz are increasing the burden on the government and the ruling party. What is the fundamental cause of President Lee's falling approval ratings? In this phase of declining approval, can the government and the ruling party overcome the current crisis and find an opportunity to rebound the approval ratings?

In MBC [100 Minutes Debate] , which airs tonight (15th) at 11:30 PM, the controversies surrounding the nominees for the second cabinet of the Lee Jae-myung government and economic/diplomatic issues will be discussed intensively.

Appearing in this broadcast are Democratic Party of Korea lawmaker Yoon Kun-young, People Power Party lawmaker Park Jeong-ha, political commentator Kim Sang-il, and The More political analysis chief Yoon Tae-gon.
