According to the schedule released by the 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) on the 11th, director Na Hong-jin has been selected as the first speaker for this year's 'Master Class'. This event will take place on the 8th of next month at the Culture Hall of the Shinsegae Department Store Centum City branch in Busan, where Na Hong-jin, who received critical acclaim through the film 'Hope' released last July, plans to have an in-depth conversation with the audience.
In addition to director Na Hong-jin, global masters such as Lav Diaz, Bertrand Mandico, and Rintaro will attend this year's festival to grace the occasion. Furthermore, director Zhang Lu, producer Jang Won-seok, and actress Shim Eun-kyung will participate in 'Cine Class', while PD Kim Tae-ho, director Heo Ahn-hwa, and critic Jung Sung-il are also scheduled to meet the audience through 'Special Talk'. The 31st Busan International Film Festival will be held from the 6th to the 15th of next month around the Busan Cinema Center.
