The Nowon Cultural Foundation will host the 'Queen Elisabeth Competition Winners Concert in Nowon,' featuring award winners from the Queen Elisabeth Competition, one of the world's top three music competitions, on Tuesday, September 15th at 7:30 PM at the Nowon Culture and Arts Center Grand Hall.

This performance will feature Ettore Pagano from Italy, the winner of the cello category; Tae-Yeon Kim, the next-generation South Korean artist who garnered global attention by taking second place; and world-class pianist Ilya Rashkovskiy. The deep resonance of the cello and the delicate melodies of the piano will combine to deliver artistic emotion at a world-class level.

In the first part of the performance, cellist Tae-Yeon Kim will present a stage encompassing sophisticated technique and deep emotion by performing Beethoven's 'Sonata for Cello and Piano No. 3 in A major (Op. 69)' and 'Figaro' from Rossini's opera 'The Barber of Seville.'

In the second part, winner Ettore Pagano will convey overwhelming skill and the breath of a master through Rachmaninoff's 'Sonata for Cello and Piano in A minor (Op. 19)' and Martinů's 'Variations on a Theme of Rossini.' In particular, Pagano is expected to provide a unique and three-dimensional tone by performing with the 1733 'Goffriller' cello, a masterpiece frequently used by the legendary 20th-century master Pablo Casals.

Kang Won-jae, Chairperson of the Nowon Cultural Foundation, stated, "It is meaningful to present a stage of next-generation masters who are attracting the attention of the global music community to the residents of Nowon. We hope residents will enjoy deep resonance and emotional inspiration through high-level classical performances."

Ticket reservations and detailed information can be found on the official website of the Nowon Cultural Foundation.
