During the 370th episode of MBC's 'Where Is My Home' on Thursday, guests toured four single-building apartment locations in Seoul, including a 650 million won home in Yeonhui-dong and a residential-commercial complex in Heukseok-dong priced at 1.58 billion won.

In the 370th episode of MBC's 'Where Is My Home' broadcast on Thursday the 22nd, the program presented a "Smart Single-Building Apartment" special. Moving away from large complexes and brand names, the episode focused on location and practical value by touring four apartment locations in Hapjeong, Yeonhui, Heukseok, and Oksu. Guests Ko Young-bae and Kim Hee-jae joined Jang Dong-min to inspect the scale, interior structures, views, and surrounding conditions of each home. The broadcast featured a house in Hapjeong-dong with views of the Han River and Bukhansan, a Yeonhui-dong home customized for a second-grade elementary student, a residential-commercial complex and a large-scale apartment in Heukseok-dong, and an Oksu-dong home located between Geumho Station and Oksu Station.

Five-minute walk from Hapjeong Station with views of Hangang Park and Bukhansan

The first location visited was a 38-unit apartment in Hapjeong-dong, Mapo-gu. This single-building apartment is a five-minute walk from Hapjeong Station. The featured home featured a structure where Hangang Park is visible through large floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room, while Bukhansan can be seen from the kitchen and dressing room. Following the episode's theme of examining single-building homes rather than large complexes, the cast checked the number of units, the distance to the station, and the views from various spaces.

To secure a wider view of the Han River, the homeowner removed the existing railings and installed system windows. The broadcast noted that following this work, railing removal is planned for all units in the apartment. In addition to the living room's floor-to-ceiling windows and Hangang Park views, it was revealed that Bukhansan is visible from the kitchen and dressing room. The sale price and area for the Hapjeong-dong house were not provided, but its distance from the station, unit count, window installation details, and views were highlighted. The broadcast explained that the Han River and Bukhansan can be seen from different spaces within the same home.

38-unit apartment at Yeonhui Intersection with spaces tailored to family life

The second home is an apartment located at Yeonhui Intersection in Yeonhui-dong, Seodaemun-gu. It is a single 5-story building with 38 units. The program highlighted how the interior was decorated to suit the lifestyle of a second-grade elementary school daughter. The largest master bedroom is used by the daughter, while the couple uses a smaller room. The remaining room was expanded to serve as a study for the daughter.

The interior was remodeled eight years ago at a cost of approximately 20 million won. The supply area is approximately 83㎡, the dedicated area is approximately 78㎡, and the sale price was revealed to be 650 million won. The information provided included the location at Yeonhui Intersection, the building's floors and unit count, the remodeling timing and cost, the area, and the sale price. The specific arrangement of the rooms was also detailed: the child uses the largest master bedroom, the couple uses the small room, and the remaining space is expanded into a study. This property showcased both the scale of a single-building apartment and its actual functional configuration.

Residential-commercial complex near Heukseok Station and comparison with large-scale apartment prices

The third stop was a residential-commercial complex located near Heukseok Station (Line 9), Chung-Ang University Hospital, and Heukseok Market. It is a single building with 154 units, and the interior is decorated in white tones. It was noted that the Han River and N Seoul Tower are visible through the windows. The most recent actual transaction price for the same size unit in this building is 1.58 billion won. While revealing the interior colors and views, the broadcast also pointed out the proximity to the subway station, hospital, and market. Following the Hapjeong-dong and Yeonhui-dong homes, a single-building residential-commercial complex with a small number of units was introduced in Heukseok-dong.

To check the market prices of surrounding apartments, the cast also visited a large-scale apartment complex in the same neighborhood. This complex consists of 26 buildings with 1,772 units. It was noted that residents can use community facilities such as a private sauna, swimming pool, and guest house. The most recent actual transaction price for the same size unit in this large complex is 2.44 billion won, which was presented alongside the 1.58 billion won price of the Heukseok-dong residential-commercial complex. Both were presented as a single-building residential-commercial complex and a large-scale apartment in the same neighborhood, comparing unit/building scale, community facilities, and recent transaction prices for the same size units.

Oksu-dong home on flat land between Geumho Station and Oksu Station

The final home revealed is a 68-unit single-building apartment in Oksu-dong, Seongdong-gu. It was introduced as a double station area located on flat land between Geumho Station and Oksu Station. Inside, the configuration of using a middle door to divide space and utilizing the living room as a study was notable. The structure, where the master bedroom bathroom connects to the living room balcony, was also shown. It was explained that this structure allows for smooth ventilation.

The most recent actual transaction price for the same size unit in the Oksu-dong home is 1.2 billion won. The key figures for the four locations revealed and the Heukseok-dong large-scale complex are as follows. The sale price for the Yeonhui-dong home and the recent transaction prices for the Heukseok-dong and Oksu-dong homes use different pricing standards. For the Hapjeong-dong home, the unit scale was introduced, but the sale price and area were not provided.
