The Geumcheon Cultural Foundation (Acting CEO Yoon Hee-su) announced that the 'Ssinggeum-ssinggeum Choir,' a choral club from the Geumcheon Living Culture Center Byeolmaru (hereinafter Byeolmaru), will hold its second visiting performance, 'Music, Connecting Hearts,' by visiting the Geumcheon Hope Daycare Center at 3:00 PM on September 11.

Composed of 32 members, the 'Ssinggeum-ssinggeum Choir' began as a citizen choir for the 2025 Geumcheon Harmony Festival and has continued its activities after the festival, establishing itself as a permanent living culture club at Byeolmaru. Residents are voluntarily gathering to sing together and continuing performance activities in the region, expanding their one-time festival participation into continuous living culture activities.

In particular, the 'Ssinggeum-ssinggeum Choir' continues to hold performances that visit local social welfare facilities to interact with facility users through music. The intention is to expand living culture activities to local welfare sites by ensuring residents do not remain mere participants in living culture but become subjects who directly share culture and arts. In July, they held their first visiting performance at the Woori Daycare Center to meet with facility users.

This performance will open with 'Young Geumcheon,' which the choir sang at the 2025 Geumcheon Harmony Festival to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of Geumcheon-gu. Following this, they will present choral songs of various genres, such as art songs and popular songs, and will also provide a time for natural communication through music by featuring a male solo stage and recreation that facility users can participate in together.

Yoon Hee-su, Acting CEO of the Geumcheon Cultural Foundation, stated, "It is highly meaningful that the residents' singing, which started at the festival, has led to permanent living culture club activities and has expanded into activities that directly visit local welfare sites to interact with neighbors. We will continue to steadily expand the foundation for activities so that residents can grow as subjects of living culture and be connected to each other through culture and arts in all corners of the region."
