Sunyoul has been cast as the lead character Oh Hye-seong in the musical 'Nambeol', based on the famous work by Lee Hyun-se.
According to media reports, Sunyoul has been cast in the role of the protagonist Oh Hye-seong in the musical 'Nambeol', a representative work by author Lee Hyun-se. The original work, which caused a syndrome in the 90s with sales of over 1 million copies, deals with a tense narrative surrounding 2,000 people detained amidst rapidly changing international affairs.
Oh Hye-seong, whom Sunyoul will portray, is a multi-dimensional character who loses his ordinary Il-sang and is placed in a tragic situation, but heads to the battlefield to protect his loved ones. Through this work, Sunyoul is expected to shed his existing boyish charm and simultaneously demonstrate the charm of a cool-headed warrior and powerful singing ability.
The musical 'Nambeol' is scheduled to meet audiences starting October 23 at the Ticket Link 1975 Theater in Seoul.
