WizOnSen to Exclusively Screen 8 British Plays at Megabox; ‘Misanthrope’ Opens September 23

Performance content producer and distributor WizOnSen will exclusively screen the 2026 season of ‘NT Live (National Theatre Live)’, allowing audiences to enjoy major British plays in movie theaters, at Megabox. This program goes beyond simple special screenings by organizing contemporary new works and classic repertoires into a seasonal lineup to broadly introduce the flow of British theater.

Season Lineup and Screening Schedule

Opening the season, ‘Misanthrope’ is a production marking the National Theatre stage debut of Golden Globe Best Actress winner Sandra. Adapted by Martin Crimp, this play is a modern reinterpretation of Molière's original work, dealing with the conflict between hypocrisy and Truth. Directed by Indu Rubasingham, it is rated for ages 12 and up with a running time of approximately 100 minutes.

WizOnSen expects that through this season, audiences will be able to vividly experience the delicate breathing of stage performances through the screens and sound of the movie theater. Reservations for the opening work ‘Misanthrope’ are available at Megabox starting September 2.
