Puppy Yulmu struggles to make friends among 200 cats on Daegijeomdo
A young puppy named Yulmu struggles to find companionship on Daegijeomdo, a Jeollanam-do island known as a paradise for approximately 200 cats.
A young puppy named Yulmu is attempting to find companionship among 200 cats on the island of Daegijeomdo in Sinan. The upcoming SBS 'TV Animal Farm' broadcast on the 18th follows the energetic puppy as he faces hissing and rejection from the local feline population.
The second installment of the Island Village Dog and Cat Journal features Yulmu, a troublemaking puppy who has appeared on the island of cats.
Under the autumn sky, the blue sea stretches out, hiding another world that can only be reached by crossing the water: an island. In a landscape slightly different from the mainland, how do humans and animals live together? This is the second story of the autumn special.
The broadcast on the 18th visits Daegijeomdo in Sinan, Jeollanam-do. The island is also known as "Korea's Santoríni" because twelve chapels are located throughout the area. However, there are beings on this island as special as the chapels. From cats lying right in front of the chapels to those that approach strangers without hesitation to show affection, Daegijeomdo is known as a paradise for cats where as many as 200 cats live alongside residents. Cats have established homes in every household, and residents care for them closely, living with them like family.
However, a constant nuisance in this peaceful cat kingdom is a puppy that constantly roams all over the island. Yulmu frequently interrupts the cats while they are eating and often causes trouble by running around the neighborhood. As a young puppy not yet a year old, Yulmu cannot contain overflowing energy and curiosity. The problem is that Yulmu's intense interest is not welcome at all by the cats. Even when Yulmu approaches them wanting to be friends, the response is only fierce hissing and cold reactions. Despite being chased away, Yulmu returns, and even when ignored, Yulmu sets out to find another friend. Will Yulmu, living as a lonely puppy in a cat paradise, finally find a friend to share a heart with?
In the island village of Daegijeomdo, where humans, cats, and the unpredictable troublemaker Yulmu live together, Yulmu's chaotic mission to find friends unfolds in the cat paradise. This special island village story will be revealed on SBS 'TV Animal Farm'.
