On Thursday the 27th at 9 PM, MBC [True Story Explorer] will track the death case of 11-year-old Sunoo (pseudonym), who lived in a church in Cheonan, and the large-scale disappearance case surrounding a study room teacher.

11-Year-Old Child Dies in Church, Traces of Hands and Feet Being Bound

On the evening of August 5, a 119 report was received from a church stating, "I'm requesting a patient transfer. They have collapsed from Exhaustion due to a high fever." Sunoo (pseudonym), an 11-year-old living in the church where the report was received, was moved to a hospital but eventually passed away, and there were traces left on the body suspected to be from having the wrists and ankles tied with ropes. During the police investigation, the church side testified that because the child kept trying to go outside, they tied the child to the bed for 38 hours. Sunoo (pseudonym) had also escaped the church twice a few days before the death.

Two Requests for Help, But Returned to the Church Again

Around 6 AM on August 2, Sunoo (pseudonym) went to a convenience store located about 500m away from the church. In the convenience store CCTV obtained exclusively by the production team, Sunoo (pseudonym) is seen wandering the store and approaching a customer to ask for help when they entered. The child rode in that customer's car to the police station but eventually returned to the church, and it is reported that even the next day, the child escaped the church again and asked a stranger for help to visit the police station for a second time, but returned to the church this time as well. The production team tracks why the child, who requested help twice on their own, had to return to the church, and what kind of place the space that should have protected the child actually was.

The Study Room Teacher Who Sees Ghosts and the Missing 2 Billion Won

A teacher who has operated a study room for over 20 years has claimed to have spiritual powers and to be able to see ghosts. It is said that they claimed to hear a ghost baby crying or said that if anyone harmed them, a ghost would send a curse. This teacher suggested to acquaintances that if they entrusted money to them, they could receive high interest, and not only long-time acquaintances but even disciples they directly taught handed over money. According to local media, the money collected this way is estimated to be approximately 2 billion won.

The Money That Does Not Return and the Continuing Curse

The transactions, which had been proceeding smoothly with promised interest being paid regularly for a while, changed from a certain point. When asked to return the money, it is said they only repeated the words to wait, and instead encouraged people to entrust even more money. There were also testimonies that they poured out curses, saying that bad things happen to those who do wrong to them. The production team investigated what happened between the study room teacher who sees ghosts and long-time acquaintances, and where the missing money went.
