Actress Yoon Gai participates in the narration... Meet the diverse stories held within Incheon International Airport!

Broadcast: Monday, September 7, 2026, at 8:30 PM on KBS 2TV

Incheon International Airport, where hundreds of thousands of people pass through every day, each carrying their own stories. Some depart on journeys to gain the strength to return to their daily lives, while others spend their intense days protecting their routines to ensure a safe journey. Documentary 3 Days captures 72 hours at Incheon International Airport, where travelers and workers meet and pass each other in the same space, each harboring different stories.

For someone's excitement

Byeong-gyu of the Terror Response Team heads to the airport without fail, even on a holiday morning. While it is a day filled with the excitement of traveling for some, for him, it is a day of going to work to protect the safety of the airport. The reason travelers can board planes without worry and fully enjoy the trips they have waited for is thanks to the people who silently keep their respective posts.

“People depart on trips filled with joy and excitement. I think I head to work with the thought that I must protect the airport from unseen places so that their excitement is not broken” - Park Byeong-gyu, 45, Terror Response Team Section Chief -

A life sufficient just by having friends to travel with

Mi-gyeong says that traveling with comfortable friends is the best. Her companions for this Canada trip are friends she has shared joys and sorrows with since high school. Traveling again with friends who still hold the memories of their school days gifts her the feeling of returning to those fresh days, even if only for a moment.

“It feels like I'm inside the returning flight. If life itself is a journey, it was joyful. It was happy” - Ha Mi-gyeong, 63 -

A journey to find 'me'

An impromptu trip is a small deviation that any young professional has dreamed of at least once. Today, Jeong-jin starts her journey by choosing a slightly special coffee instead of the iced americano she always drinks. However, she encounters an unexpected flight delay. Not everything flows as intended, but by facing such unexpected moments, she moves one step further forward again today.

“The fog is thick in front of my eyes, so it doesn't seem like an easy trip. I just hope that by looking only at my feet, I can become a slightly better version of myself than yesterday, step by step” - Lee Jeong-jin, 27, Office Worker -

We met someone heading to a far-off foreign land toward their dream with the support of their family. The images of the family in the Polaroid, taken so they can be looked at anytime, are filled with bright smiles. Ji-eun feels that as she gradually becomes accustomed to parting, her mood will improve at the thought that the day they meet again is approaching. Leaving behind the warm farewells of her family, she takes her first step toward a new journey.

“In five years? I hope I haven't changed much. I think I'll feel good when I get to the point where I'm used to parting and can think, 'Ah, the day we meet again isn't far off now'” - Ahn Ji-eun, 31, International Student -

Documentary 3 Days Episode 736, ‘It's Okay to Take a Break - 72 Hours at Incheon International Airport’, will be broadcast on Monday, September 7, at 8:30 PM on KBS 2TV, featuring the warm narration of actress Yoon Gai.
