DoubleU Games adds Halloween update to DoubleU Casino
DoubleU Games has updated DoubleU Casino with a Halloween-themed main lobby, the new Haunted Sugar Heist slot and a Spooky Season for Wonder Cards. The company plans to follow Halloween with Thanksgiving and Christmas events.
DoubleU Games has introduced a Halloween-themed update to its social casino game DoubleU Casino, redesigning the main lobby and adding a new slot alongside a fresh season of its card-collecting reward content.
The update gives the in-game main lobby a Halloween setting. The new slot, Haunted Sugar Heist, features playful ghosts and candy symbols, while Wonder Cards has launched its Spooky Season.
The new Wonder Cards season will run for approximately 20 days. Players collect cards through gameplay to complete albums, with designs themed around Halloween treats, costumes and witch accessories. Completing an album earns in-game currency, and collecting every card in the season unlocks a final reward.
Industry observers view this type of seasonal content as playing an important role in increasing the time users spend in a game.
Since its launch in 2012, DoubleU Casino has released a new, internally developed slot every week. The game also runs collectible content such as Wonder Cards alongside content that lets users compete against one another.
DoubleU Games plans to roll out year-end seasonal events in sequence, beginning with Halloween and continuing through Thanksgiving and Christmas.
