Go Youn-jung to Present at 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards as Pre-Debut Pub Poster Resurfaces
A 2016 university pub poster featuring actor Go Youn-jung, taken before her debut, spread online on the 18th. She is due to present at the 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards next month.
Actor Go Youn-jung, 30, who debuted in 2019, is drawing attention after a photo of her from a 2016 pub promotional poster for a Seoul Women's University event spread across online communities and social media on the 18th. The news that she modeled for the poster before her debut prompted interest.
A plain look that stood out
At the time, Go was a student in the Department of Modern Art at Seoul Women's University. The photo has drawn fresh attention ten years later, as it shows her working as a model for on-campus promotional posters before entering show business.
In the poster, she wears a white knit sweater and rests her chin on her hand as she looks at the camera. Her makeup is light and the mood unadorned, but her distinct features stand out.
Not the first college-era photo to go viral
This is not the first time her student-days pictures have become a talking point. In January, the college student magazine Daehak Naeil released photos from her 2016 cover shoot, which also brought her past appearance back into view.
Go, born in 1996, debuted in the 2019 tvN drama He Is Psychometric and has since appeared in Alchemy of Souls, Moving and Resident Playbook, among other works. She is scheduled to attend the 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) as a presenter on the 7th and 8th of next month at Gocheok Sky Dome in Guro-gu, Seoul.
