LeMouton holds first walking event with Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio at Mungyeongsaejae

The comfortable walking shoe brand LeMouton announced on the 31st that it held a walking event titled "LeMouton Walking Club with Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio" at Mungyeongsaejae in Gyeongbuk, in partnership with MBC's "Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio." Held on the 28th, this event was organized in a format that combined walking with a live radio broadcast.

Now in its 14th year, the "LeMouton Walking Club" is a customer-participation program designed to promote walking culture by walking together along scenic paths. LeMouton has previously continued walking programs that weave together nature and local culture in locations such as Mungyeong, Busan, Suncheon, Wonju, and Tokyo, Japan. This was the first time the program was combined with a radio show; 3,200 people applied to participate, and 350 final participants were selected through a drawing.

Participants started from the Mungyeongsaejae outdoor performance stage and walked a 7.8km round-trip section to the second gate, taking in the scenery of Saejae at their own pace. LeMouton provided all participants with welcome goods, including a gym sack and a key ring.

After the walk, the live broadcast of "Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio" followed at the outdoor performance stage. Following DJ Son Tae-jin's opening and a talk themed around walking, singers Park Hye-kyung, Libelante, and Jadu took the stage. As Son Tae-jin is known to enjoy wearing LeMouton shoes regularly, it was evaluated that a natural connection was made with the participants. The event is interpreted as an attempt to go beyond a simple promotional event by combining walking and music to increase both the stay time and immersion of the participants.

A LeMouton official stated, "For every walking club, we contemplate how to deliver the joy of walking along with a special experience unique to that day. We are happy that this walking club, which for the first time was held with a radio program, was able to create good memories for many people as walking and music harmonized." They added, "We will continue to make various attempts through the LeMouton Walking Club so that the time spent walking together can remain a special experience."

The scene of the event will be released on September 4th through MBC Standard FM's "Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio" and its YouTube channel.
