LG HelloVision's representative long-running program <Noticeable Women> has received external recognition for its contribution to breaking occupational boundaries and spreading a healthy culture of gender equality.
LG HelloVision announced on Tuesday (the 8th) that its original human documentary <Noticeable Women> won the 'Gender Equality Culture Content Award of the Year' at the '2026 Gender Equality Culture Awards'.
The 'Gender Equality Culture Awards' is an award that discovers and highlights individuals, groups, and content that contribute to spreading gender equality culture through creation and activities in various fields such as culture, art, sports, and tourism. It is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and hosted/organized by the Women's Culture Network and the Women's Press.
<Noticeable Women> was highly evaluated for breaking stereotypes about occupations and expanding social empathy by sincerely capturing the challenges and lives of female professionals who are eliminating prejudices and building their own domains in various parts of our society.
<Noticeable Women> is LG HelloVision's flagship human documentary that has been highlighting the vivid daily lives of women who proactively carve out their lives without being bound by limitations such as gender, age, or region. Since its first broadcast in 2022, it has established itself as a long-running program through a total of 9 seasons over 5 years.
In particular, it has delivered deep resonance and motivation to viewers by discovering 109 female professionals who work proudly in their respective positions, including occupations traditionally considered male-dominated, such as subway train drivers, ship welders, junk shop operators, and Black Knight.
The achievements on online platforms are also noteworthy. On LG HelloVision's official YouTube channel 'Hello Life', <Noticeable Women> recorded a single video peak of 12.58 million views, and the cumulative views for all seasons have surpassed 125.9 million.
LG HelloVision Senior PD Ryu Bok-yeol said, "We received this meaningful award thanks to the 109 protagonists who have silently walked their own paths over the past five years and the viewers who responded passionately to their stories. We will continue to sincerely support women in their 20s to 40s who live intensely in all parts of our society and will continue to contribute to expanding gender-equal occupational perception and warm social empathy through their voices."
Meanwhile, <Noticeable Women> is currently airing Season 9 and is broadcast every weekday (Mon-Fri) at 7:00 AM on The Life, CH.U, StoryTV, UMAX, YTN2, and Yonhap News TV JOB, and at 4:30 PM and 9:30 PM on LG HelloVision local channel 25.
