Overthehand and Develop Rocket Edu to launch VTuber curriculum and contests using MASCOZ technology

Overthehand (CEO Lee Kyu-seung), which operates the virtual creator platform ‘MASCOZ’, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Develop Rocket Edu (CEO Park Byung-jun) to pursue joint business initiatives utilizing VTuber educational content.

This agreement was pursued to expand the 3D avatar production technology and VTuber content capabilities held by Overthehand into the education field, and to provide practical production and utilization experience to educational participants dreaming of becoming virtual creators.

Overthehand develops and operates MASCOZ, a platform that supports anyone to create their own 3D avatar and start virtual content activities without professional modeling knowledge or expensive equipment.

With this agreement as an opportunity, Overthehand plans to prepare programs where educational participants can experience step-by-step processes, from avatar production to VTuber content planning and utilization, by linking MASCOZ's technology and content with educational curricula and contests.

According to the agreement, both companies will cooperate in fields such as: △ Joint hosting and operation of contests using Overthehand's VTuber training content △ Recruitment of instructors and judges required for the curriculum and management of judging △ Promotion and expansion of educational business using both companies' networks △ Provision and support of content services using Overthehand's technology △ Support for budget and actual expense execution required for educational business operation.

Overthehand will play the role of providing VTuber content and MASCOZ technology and strengthening the expertise of the educational programs. Develop Rocket Edu will cooperate in program operation, participant recruitment, and hosting contests by utilizing its experience in educational curriculum planning/operation and related networks.

In particular, Overthehand plans to continuously expand educational touchpoints so that students, aspiring creators, and educational participants wishing to enter the digital content field can directly produce and utilize virtual content, going beyond existing platform users.

The goal is to establish a growth structure where the educational experience connects to actual virtual creator activities by supporting participants discovered through the educational curriculum to create their own avatars on MASCOZ and continue their content activities.
