Riichi City to add Kakegurui characters in new collaboration starting October 22
Formirai announced that its online Riichi Mahjong game, Riichi City, will launch a collaboration update with the popular Japanese anime Kakegurui. The event features four new characters and a new mini-game, running from October 22 to November 20.
Formirai is launching a collaboration between its online mahjong game Riichi City and the anime Kakegurui, introducing four characters and a new "Memory Game" from October 22 until November 20. The update also features the re-release of UR versions of Natsuumi Marin and Hara Michiyuki.
Formirai (CEO Frank) announced on the 22nd that its online Riichi Mahjong game, Riichi City, is conducting a collaboration update with the popular Japanese anime Kakegurui.
Through this collaboration, four major characters from Kakegurui—Yumeko Jabami, Mary Saotome, Kirari Momobami, and Ririka Momobami—will join Riichi City. These collaboration characters can be obtained through the in-game recruitment system.
Each character consists of a basic outfit, an awakened outfit, and an additional skin. Players can obtain the awakened outfit upon character awakening, while additional skins can be purchased using outfit tickets.
During the collaboration period, a new mini-game called "Memory Game," which tests memory and concentration, will also be introduced. Users can participate in the mini-game to earn points, which can then be exchanged for collaboration-related items in the Point Market.
In conjunction with this, a collaboration attendance event and a main event will be held, and UR versions of existing characters Natsuumi Marin and Hara Michiyuki will be re-released.
The official community will host a countdown sharing event to celebrate the start of the collaboration. Participants will be entered into a drawing to win GS25 mobile vouchers. Specific participation methods and the winner announcement schedule will be announced through the Riichi City official community.
This update will be applied at 11:00 AM on October 22, and the collaboration event will run from 11:00 AM on the same day until 11:59 PM on November 20.
