Approximately 200 film and media professionals gathered in Haeundae on the 9th for Higgsfield AI MOVIE NIGHT to discuss generative AI production trends. Co-hosted by SmileShark and Higgsfield, the event focused on establishing cloud infrastructure to support the industry's transition to AI-based content creation.

SmileShark (CEO Jang Jin-hwan), a cloud AI MSP, announced that it has successfully completed "Higgsfield AI MOVIE NIGHT," a networking event for the film and AI industries, held in collaboration with generative AI platform company Higgsfield and others.

Held on the 9th in Haeundae, Busan, the event was organized to coincide with the Busan International Film Festival to expand exchanges between the film/content industry and AI companies and to share trends in AI-based content production. The event was co-hosted by Higgsfield, MiniMax, PaleBlueDot AI, and SmileShark.

Approximately 200 people, including representatives from domestic and international production companies, entertainment companies, media companies, and film directors, attended the event. Participants exchanged opinions on AI-based video production cases and changes in the content industry, and side events such as prize drawings were also held.

Co-host Higgsfield is an all-in-one generative AI platform that handles everything from image, video, and voice generation to marketing advertisement production on a single screen. This year in Cannes, Higgsfield released the AI film "HELL GRIND," which has a running time of approximately 95 minutes. It is a feature-length sci-fi action fantasy film where the entire screen was implemented using generative AI without camera filming.

At this event, SmileShark discussed ways to establish a production environment based on generative AI with film and content industry officials. As AI video production requires large-scale computing resources and a stable data processing environment, cloud infrastructure design and operation capabilities are essential for content companies to adopt AI. SmileShark plans to support the AI transformation (AX) of film and entertainment companies based on its capabilities in building and operating generative AI infrastructure based on AWS.

“While AI is rapidly changing video production methods, stable infrastructure and operating systems are needed for it to be actually used in the field,” said Jang Jin-hwan, CEO of SmileShark. “Through this event, we were able to hear firsthand the expectations and concerns the film and content industry has regarding AI.” He added, “We will continue to provide architecture consulting and Proof of Concept (PoC) support so that content companies can introduce AI into the production process without the technical burden.”

In the five years since its founding, SmileShark has reached the Premier Tier, the highest level of AWS partner. Since its establishment in December 2019, SmileShark has grown rapidly, achieving the Advanced Tier in the shortest time in history and receiving the Rising Star Award, and is working to create a world where everyone can easily use the cloud through its role as an AI MSP.
