The production company Take One Studio announced on the 21st that TWICE's DAHYUN and actor Cha Woo-min will star in the film 'Cloud Is a Cloud.' Directed by Choi Seon-min and written by Shin Hyun-ji, the film is provided by Take One Company and produced by Take One Studio and SLL. Filming is currently underway with a goal to release the movie in 2027.
The work is a first-love coming-of-age story depicting the process of a cheerful girl who has lived in a wheelchair and a swimming prospect harboring inner wounds becoming special to one another.
DAHYUN will play the role of Cloud, a high school student. Having used a wheelchair until the age of seventeen due to paraplegia, Cloud is a bright individual with high self-esteem. As a member of the art club, Cloud visits the school swimming pool with the desire to see and draw abdominal muscles in person. There, she becomes a volunteer mentor to Jun-san, who has been kicked out of training after an argument with a senior, and the two begin their first love.
Cha Woo-min will portray Jun-san, a high school student and swimming prospect. Despite having a striking physique and appearance, he is a character who hides complexes and inner wounds from others. While Jun-san was solely focused on swimming, he grows close to Cloud through involuntary volunteer work.
While feeling an attraction to Cloud, Jun-san struggles with long-held feelings of self-reproach. The teen romance portrayed by DAHYUN and Cha Woo-min will capture the first love and growth of the two characters.
